Company Overview:
The TD IRIE Music Festival will host a fundraising artist showcase to raise funds for the annual summer festival.

Now in its 10th year, the TD IRIE Music Festival will take place July 29th to August 1st, 2011. The festival features a multi-media celebration of international and local reggae, world, gospel and urban artists along with dance, visual art, spoken word and international cuisine.

The TD IRIE Music Festival is produced by a small, community-based, non-profit organization dedicated to sharing our culture with Torontonians and visitors. Executive/Artistic Director, Phil Vassell explains “With the huge costs needed to produce this large, free, multi-media event at Queen’s Park, Nathan Phillips Square and Yonge Dundas Square, we hope our loyal and new fans will help us keep this great event alive and thriving”.

The goal of the event is to raise funds to help produce the 10th anniversary festival in 2011 by showcasing a variety of artists many of whom have performed at the TD IRIE Music Festival in the past. Donations to the festival can also be made online at our website at

Please add this to your listings and we are presently confirming interviews.  With thanks.
