Roger Moore was born in Jamaica in the parish of Clarendon. He however grew up between Kingston, Montego Bay and Linstead. Roger started out in the music at the tender age of 9 years participating in community event and local talent shows. From that time he knew that he wanted to be a reggae artiste, all his friends encouraged him and his family supported him.
As a young and conscious Reggae artiste his musical journey had begun. During the late 80’s to early the 90’s he travelled the entire Island, worked with numerous sound systems and made a name for himself by making appearances on many large stage shows performing many hits such as Dub to Dub and One Day Loving done on The Top Ranking Label. Dub to Dub went to number 8 on RJR top ten music charts and climb to number 2 on the British Chart. Roger Moore is a certified member of the Performing Rights Society (PRS) in London England. In 1993 Roger Moore immigrate to Canada and continued to do live performances but as a Jamaican and reggae artist he missed his roots and decided to return to where it first begun. Starting All Over and Move Funny are two of his recording did while in Jamaica during 2005.
Presently in Canada Mr. Moore did recording for Coptic label and Mountain Edge label (I Satisfy and Rocky Road). Several live performances and a few singles are calendar dates for the coming months.
